2003 Jeep Liberty - no radio sound after replacing the battery

After replacing the battery, not getting any sound through the radio, cd player, or cassett. The display shows the station and what songs playing. Nothing happens when adjust the volume or anthing else. Tried cd, casett, playing with all the adjustments - nothing. Chrysler dealer said they've not heard of that, will diagonse for $35.

Check all fuses inside and outside of the jeep and also try to disconnect the battery for 3-30 minutes and then hook it back up,and make sure if you have an alarm that its turned off.then try and see if it works then.Remember and try not to arc the battery terminal when you put it back together.

the alternator charges the battery so if that happens then your alternator is bad but if you jump it and it works for sometime then i guess ur battery is bad so change the battery

is it a factory radio??? if it aftermarket radio could be loose conection on one of wires but sounds more like the radio has a short inside the radio it self you probley have to replace the radio

SOUND LIKE DEAD BATTERY.CHECK BATTERY CABLE FOR TIGHTNESS AND FREE FROM CORROSSION AT BATTERY POST AND BATTERY CABLES.MAKE SURE BATTERY VOLTAGE IS 12.5 VOLTS.IF NOT BATTERY NEED CHARGING AND TESTED.IF BATTERY GOOD.SOUND LIKE ALTERNATOR BAD.BEFORE REPLACING OR DISCONNECTING BATTERY CABLES OR BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR.TURN OFF RADIO SO YOU WONT LOSE PLAYING CODE.

You heater only works on speeds #2 & 4 because the blower motor resistor pack is defective. Replace it.

I installed a cd player and now my gas gauge wont read it says i have no gas when i had a half a tank to start why would that be is there a certain fuse or wire for that i have 2003 Jeep liberty

check your wiring connection and if the gauge goes back to normal when radio is unplugged then get a different source of power to the radio.This should solve.

Yea i had the same exact year liberty and the same 6 cd player...chrysler cd players just straight up ****...i would just replace the cd player...it probly shot...and if not...you should anyways because its just gunna be one problem after another.

sometimes the cd player optic eye inside is broken and is not able to read the disks. try another cd player or check the wiring behind it ok?
