My resistor pack is located behind the glove box AND IT DOES fold down exposing the relay
i got my part for i think 20 bucks at AUTO ZONE i had some burned MELTED wires so i had to splice. i did this twice in 4 years my junk yrs dont seem to keep then or the pig tails in stock they sell them fast
the part is called a resistor pack
Had the same problem on 2003 T&C; go to the attached site; answer and procedures (good pics!) were spot on...fixed in a couple hours. Went to the dealer for the replacement; given it was an electronic board didn't want to screw around. If you have the resistor type, might give a junk yard a shot. In any event it was easy to do & worked like a charm:

Be sure when you want a/c off you have in fresh air mode if it is in reciculate a/c will cut on regardless of switch and a/c cuts on when in defrost
please reconsider your rating!!!! this is how system works if all you have it in none of these settings and a/c is still on then we can further diagnose
inappropiate ratings are designed for rude and off the wall comments
WHAT YEAR?
no problem
We have that problem on our trucks. I work at chevy dealer.
I think you will find that the resistor is gonna also be burnt it is usually best to replace both the connector and resistor. Chevy sells just the harness pigtail, I would think dodge does too. sometimes you get a parts guy that doesnt wanna look up. good luck to you

The HVAC fan never turns off. even when I turn off the power in the console.
AC/heat blower runs full speed and when power is shut off, it goes into recirculating mode
My description of the problem was not detailed enough for you to properly troubleshoot the situation. My apologies for not fully understanding your rating system. I meant to imply that the response was not a fix for the problem, not that you were inappropriate. The problem should have been described as the "Bower wil not shut off" I have since found the harness connector burnt on the black wire for the Blower resistor. Chrysler wants to sell me a new IP harness and tear the dash out to replace it. Since I do not know how to check the blower resistor, I will get a new connector from the salvage yard, **** connect the 3 wires and see if that works. If not Ill replace the $73 resistor and hopefully save about $800 over the Chrysler Dealerships cost.
I have the same problem. 2002 Town and Country LXI. Blower motor will not turn off, even when you turn off the power to the a/c system via the controls on the dash.
