By oil is "watery" I assume you mean to say thin and clean. which is normal however if there is actual water in it meaning is white and milkish looking that could be a big problem the head gasket could be blown or a cooling/oil valley broken. although sounds more like you're just being finicky 104deg. doesn't seem very hot for engine oil to me in fact it should prob. be around 180deg. depending on the oil cooler

Car shuts of suddenly while driving. Starts back up after 20 minutes.

When the gas-cap is plugged, you build up vacuum in the gas- tank and cause the gas flow to stop.
Use premium gas only, ETHANOL in the mix is attracting moisture/water which is part of the problems.

Golf GTI unused for 1 month ,starter motor problems. I had the starter motor fixed and on the foist run out @ 30 miles the oil light started flashing. I hade checked the oil levels before I had left and it...

First don't overfill sump it can do as much damage as low oil. The problem could be a defective sender unit or a short along the cable whch carries that signal. The worst it can be is worn engine parts in which case you should take it to a workshop. regards Johngee

How to get a 2litre 8 valve golf 2 gti to perform at maxuimum performance. Or how to tweek a gti 1992 big bumper golf.

the rules are this, better airflow throgh the engine equals better perf. run a low restriction filter assembly, K&N and others make them, run a free flowing exhaust, do your research, just because it sounds good that doesn't mean it gives any perf gain, u can also fool with the electronics, they may or may not offer a performance chip for your car, u will have to inquire, call Summit racing, they are one of the leaders in the country on perf parts, they sell the best.

Not hitting rev limit

Hello there matey...I'v got a gti 8v anniversary!..it seems to have the same problem the day i brought it...some GTi's just do that...i have heard its got to do with the ECU..bringing fuel to the engine..they way i overcome the lag of a 8v was getting a Pipercross Viper induction kit!..I dunno if ur 4om england or america!?...here in england they retail for about £250.00!...but wooow! they make a different! the engine gets so much cold hair that it seems the pin is going to fly of! it flys past 5100 revs..and theres no lag!.. feels better than a 16v..also think of a ecotek valve made a alot of different even tho its used 2 M.P.G...
Good luck...
