Do you know if it is because you havent changed the oil? Is that what you had done whe nyou got it serviced? Sometimes cars are made with a reset; when your oil engine light comes on it either means that your engine is low on oil and or you need an oil change. I hope thats what you meant when you said you had it serviced. If that was it check and see in you owners manual in the section where it talks about the oil change and see if it says you have to reset the sensor. Which if it does say you have to dont worry it is really really easy usaully only takes like 5 seconds and a few pumps on the gas pedal when the car is turned on (not the engine just the car itself). Just check it out in your owners manual to see if your particular car has an oil reset on it, if not take it back to the place wher eyou had it serviced and have them fix the problem. I hope I was able to help.
Have the oil pressure sending unit checked right away. If the light is working properly, it is a warning of insufficient oil pressure, which can ruin your engine, it's probably just the sending unit, but don't take the chance of ruining your engine. I assume u checked your oil level, it could also indicate very low level. countrycurt0

Verify that the engine has the proper amount of oil. The inertia from accelerating may be moving the oil in the oil pan away from the sensor and causing it to send a signal, then when you slow the oil levels out and the sensor go's off. I've had this happen alot with a taurus that I owned. The simple solution was to top off the oil to the correct level and the sensor did not come on again (until it ran low again, had a leaky oil plug on oil pan).
I assume you mean "Oil" pressure...This is the first sign of the main bearings getting to the point of needing replacement. The fact that the pressure goes up when you accelerate tells me that the oil pump is working. There is just too much bearing clearance for the oil pump to keep enough volume flowing at idle to maintain pressure. In short, it's time for an overhaul. It will be less expensive if you do it now than if you wait until you spin a bearing and destroy a crankshaft, or put a rod through the side of the engine block.
Check and verify that your oil level is full on your engine oil dipstick, if its low add oil until its in the safe area of the dipstick, if your oil is full and your still having this problem, the problem is most likely a faulty oil pressure switch, replace the switch and your oil light problem should be fixed...
when you press the brake pedal the brake master cylinder vacuum booster takes vacuum away from the engine and that slows the idle speed just enough to trigger the low pressure oil light. Pull the oil pressure sending unit out and hook up an oil pressure test gage, if the pressure is above 15 PSI hot engine idle in drive replace the oil pressure sending unit.
