Question about 1998 Toyota Corolla
I had the same problem. I checked all the fuses and they were OK. Finally took out the ash tray and felt for the connection and it was unplugged. I took the trim off and plugged it in. Once again I can use the cigarette lighter to power stuff.

The fuse box is behind the storage compartment to the left of the steering wheel all you have to do is pop it out.
