I have the same problem, I have a 2003 jeep grand cherokee and I was driving and it just shut off on me. Lost power steering, check engine and check gages light came on. It will turn over but won't start. I had it checked by a family member and was told it was an electrical error in the computer system. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be? Is it possible to have anything to do with the chips in the keys? Is there anyway I can just reset it somehow? Any idea on how much it will cost? Any kind of help is appreciated.

My 2005 Jeep GC does the same thing. I drove it, parked in my driveway. A half hour later won't start. Had AAA come out and charge it, still won't work. It happened over the summer, we left it at the location and the next day it worked fine. Someone said it is a security prevention??? This is the second time this has happened.

I have the same problem. All lights work, no engine trouble codes come up, the relay just clicks. After it sits, could be minutes or a day, it starts as normal. It is random as to when it happens.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Problem

I would start by checking all the fuses under the hood.
There is a fuse called IOD which the factory leaves out and gets put in at the dealer.
That fuse could be bad.
