Jun 30, 2013 - The O2 sensor (only one) on you chassis is located at the end of the "Y" pipe, just in front of the resonator. It is mounted on top of the pipe.

both codes refer to O2 sensors. PO141 and PO136. 136 is sensor bank 1 sensor 2. 141 is bank 1 sensor 1. so this info will work on both sensors. This code means that the heated circuit in the oxygen sensor on bank 1 decreases time needed to enter closed loop.
As the O2 heater reaches operating temperature, the oxygen sensor responds by switching according to oxygen content of the exhaust surrounding it. The ECM tracks how long it takes for the oxygen sensor to begin switching. It the ECM determines (based on coolant temp) that too much time elapsed before the oxygen sensor began operating properly, it will set P0141. See also: P0135 (Bank 1, Sensor 1).
Symptoms You will likely notice poor fuel economy the illumination of the Check Engine Light.
Causes A code P0141 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

• open or short to ground in the wiring harness
• O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance
• O2 heater element resistance is high
• Internal short or open in the heater element

Note: Typically a failed catalytic converter does not cause this code. You're more likely to see a P0420 code for a failed converter.
Possible Solutions

• Replace oxygen sensor (cannot repair open or short that occurs internally to sensor)
• Repair short or open or high resistance in wiring harness or harness connectors

O2 sensor is mounted on exhaust system near engine before cat converter can't help with rest of question sorry

- The first oxygen sensor in cylinder bank # 1 is numbered O2 Sensor 1/1.
- The second oxygen sensor in cylinder bank # 1 is numbered O2 Sensor 1/2.
- A third oxygen sensor in cylinder bank # 1 would be numbered O2 Sensor 1/3.
- The first oxygen sensor in cylinder bank # 2 is numbered O2 Sensor 2/1.
- The second oxygen sensor in cylinder bank # 2 is numbered O2 Sensor 1/1.



- If a V-6 or V-8 vehicle only uses one downstream Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) it is numbered O2 Sensor 1/2, even if it uses two upstream HO2S.

to make you clear where does the oxygen sensors where is........... some have four, three or two, all O2 SENSORS ARE LOCATED AT EXHAUST PIPE. before and after catalytic converter,

B1 means the sensor is located on the same bank of the engine that has the #1 cylinder. B2 is located on the opposite bank.
S1 means the sensor is located BEFORE the catalytic converter
S2 means the sensor is located AFTER the catalytic converter

You didn't say which engine you have, so I've included the diagrams of both 4 cyl and 6 cyl so you can see the banks

You may have water in the spark plug hole, or a shorted plug wire, pull #4 wire and look for water residue and a possible burn mark on the plug wire were it goes over the plug.

There are four o2 sensors on this truck. one on each side just below the exhaust manifold, and one on each side behind the second catalytic converters. (just about even with the back of the front doors.
