Question about 1999 Honda Accord
We bought this accord brand new and the only problem is the paint. We took it to the dealership with another person with the same problem. Now as far as we can tell, this is a problem that honda has across the board with these year models, especially with green, blue or the rose purple color. They told us all they could do is give us 250 dollars in service money and that because of the year, that was it. That was even after the honda rep came. Our car sits in a garage except for when we drive it and it has been well maintained. Washed and waxed, I wash it every 2 weeks, wax it every 3 months. I went as far as thinking about Maaco painting the entire car. Can ya help?
Hi the only soloution to the top coat peeling is a complete repaint as the top coat is not bonding to the base coat due to bad preperation with is done before you start to paint its a bit like when you paint somrthing at home and can,t be bothered to clean and rub down the old paint work then when it peels yougot to do it again sorry no short cut here any one that says there is is going to do a shoddy job and it will peel again yates210456
