Question about 1995 Nissan 200SX
I recently had a slight problem removing the ignition key from my 200sx 1995. Now when I put it in I cannot even turn it to start the car. I have tried both keys. This happened after I rolled the car down my driveway slightly when waxing the tires. I did not use the key and the steering wheel is now locked in a turned position. Can someone paleez tell me what's wrong?
Your car has a steering lock that clicks into place when you take the car key out of the ignition. This prevents thieves from being able to steer your car if they hotwire it. Sometimes the wheel is turned to just the right place to keep your key from being able to disengage that steering wheel lock. All you have to do is turn the wheel a little bit in either direction while you turn they key. and your done!
