this type of thing needs to be installed by some one who has access to Nissan diagnostic equipment as the ecu needs to be "paired " with the vehicle , you can try just changing it over, disconnect the battery first and wait a few minutes for the power to drain down , and see if everthing functions ok , your choice as to which way you do it
Sounds like a job for the company that installed the remote starter. As we all know there is only 1 company that makes remote car starters, but i do not remember what it is and you aint giving up the information. Try the installer of the remote.
there is a positive and negative wire on your door lock motor. you need to put the purple wire to the negitve wire going to your door lock. try hooking up to just one of the door locks neg wires. if it only unlocks that door then you will need to run wires to the other doors aswell. the keyless system sends a neg pulse to unlock and lock the posiytive is constant. so unhook purple and attach to lock ground not car ground
you may have a dead batter or a batter that will not hold a charge if this is not the case and your battery have full charge (12.6 volts) then you might have a bad connection in some of your wires so that electricity can not flow freely from you battery to the starter
highly recommend installing a factory remote starter system if not install properly will have all kind of problems, go to any chrysler jeep dodge dealer and buy a factory system, they do have simple instructions
I have the same car...04 nissan sentra....with the exact same problem....left side speakers just quit working. I still do not know what caused the problem, or how to fix it. I know it not the wiring, it is a defect within the stereo.
