I am having problem with switch or motor not working...already tried spraying some radio schak electronic parts cleaner into switch. On last try it worked for 5 min, then quit again, lol
I am ready to take off the door panel, but I don't understand how it is supposed to pop off?? already took out some screws but has not helped yet.
Anybody know how to get the interior door panel off???

My 1993 Chrysler town and country van starts but dies when I put it in gear. this started when I put in a new drivers side window. Is there some wiring that I might not have gotten connected properly

I have had the same issues with both power windows. The issue is the window gets stuck in the up position usually because of holding the up button too long. In all cases I have taken the door panel off loosened the window motor screws which takes the pressure off the internal gear drive of the motor, put it all back together and it works until someone holds the button too long again. I have done this 4 times and each time it fixed the problem. I guarantee the dealers know of this problem and I suspect that they fix it the same way and tell you that they changed the drive motor.

Dose one fuse control both power windows on 2005 town & countrry

Probably is only one fuse, just check all the fuses in the fuse box. Check for broken wire in the door jam, but you may need new window motor or new control switch on the armrest. Is there any noise from the door when you push the buttons? If you hear the motor running, then you need that track that pushes the window up and down.

My drivers side rear door is locked open and I

check the closing mechanism and see if it isnt locked down in the closed position, if it is stick your finger in there and pull it out like it would open while moving the door handle, if thats not the problem, see if there isnt a toy or something stuck in the tracks on the bottom or dirt and leaves on the top

Fix automatic window town country 2001

I am assuming you mean the drivers side window? Pull the door panel, then take a meter and find out if the switch is getting power, if switch is getting power your window motor is bad and needs to be replaced.

Driver's side power window doesn't work

2006 chrysler town and country passenger side window suddenly stopped working.
other windows work, sliding doors work as does rear hatchback.
fuses seem to be good.
might there be a safety switch that somehow got pushed that keeps the passenger window from opening?
