What I show is that for a 2002 Camry there was a 2.4 liter engine. I don,t believe they made a 2.5 liter. The DS model came with the 4 cylinder. A 2.5 Four cam would be a V6 DOHC and Toyota made a 3.0 DOHC not a 2.5.

Knock sensor diagram

On the 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine it is located on the siie of the engine block (the side nearest the firewall).

On the 3.0 Liter V-6 engine there are 2 knock sensors and the are located in the "valley" below the intake manifold. You'll have to remove the intake manifold to get to them.

documented 3 ways, by page new page, by FSM and by instruction sheet that came with all new belts (GATES)

the cam cog has 2 false marks, do no use them
use all E marks. 16v and see 8v for its false marks too.
1995 had 2 engines, 2 EFI and 2 heads. as an option.
fact. G16A or B.

Camshaft sprocket tensioner

ask a real question, please.
eg: how to do the new timing belt install.?
how does it work.?
where to buy it.?

if you want , login to alldata.com and read there
lacking a real Toy FSM. that is.

the cam must be timed, right or risk engine damage,
twin cams for sure.
the belt must be tensioned correctly or it will self destruct in short order. how to do that varies by every engine ever made.
what engine option so you have. (SIZE in liters)

there are many.engines, in class.
2.2-liter I4 or the 3.0-liter V6 engine
5S-FE 2.2 L I4 and 192 hp (143 kW) SAE for the 1MZ-FE V6

Engines for the V40 were a 1.8-liter (4S-FE type) and 2.0-liter (3S-FE type), and a 2.2-liter turbodiesel (3C-T type). At launch only the 2.0-liter model was available in all-wheel drive mode, although afterwards the 2.2-liter turbodiesel could be optioned with this system.

seems endless.
if in USA< are you? i dont know.
in USA we open the hood, look up,not down see, EPA sticker
engine type is clearly stated there, says compliant to USA EPA.
bla bla,

Cylinder head torque 1n diesel engine

Hi!

The Toyota Starlet is a fuel efficient compact car that replaced Toyota's Publica model in 1973 and was manufactured through the 1999 model year. The Starlet was sold new in the United States for only four years, from 1981 through the 1984 model year. Originally a rear-wheel drive car, the Starlet transitioned to front-wheel drive in 1984.

The 1981 to 1984 versions of the Starlet that were sold in the U.S. were powered by a 1.3 liter OHV engine with four cylinders and electronic fuel injection. The engine has a 2.95-inch bore and 2.87-inch stroke and produces 58 horsepower at 4,200 rpm. The 1981 and 1982 versions of the engine produced 67 ft-lbs of torque, and the 1983 and 1984 versions produced 74 ft-lbs of torque. The compression ratio is 9.5:1.
Hope that helps!!

Camry timing belt

Both the 2.2 Liter 4 cylinder and the 3.0 Liter V6 have a cam belt that must be replaced every 60,000 miles. The cam belt also drives the water pump and for this reason I recommend you replace the cam belt at 120,000 miles when you replace the cam belt the second time. Neither engine is an interference engine.
