98 Corolla wont start!! Please help :)

Ok so i have a 98 toyota corolla with a manual transmission. I recently had the clutch replaced and when I got the car back it was running perfectly. One night when starting it, it clicked at first like it didn't want to start, but then on the 2nd try it did. The next morning when i went to start it, it did nothing, no clicks, nothing. I don't think the battery is dead because the lights/radio still work. I don't know what to do and have no one to really help me figure this out. And the alarm system is all of a sudden engaged for no reason, (it wasn't initially when it first wouldn't start) i don't know how to shut it off but I do know the car will not start at all even if nothing is wrong with it when this security system is engaged. I know it takes pressing the right buttons on the little keypad 'lock/unlock' button thing, but nothing seems to make a difference. I just have a dumb (but pretty) blue light blinking in my face telling me the alarm is on. I thought of maybe pulling the fuse for the alarm, but i don't know which one it is, i don't understand the abbreviations, i'm scared i'm gonna mess it up and the car will just explode and my owners manual isn't helping!!!! Finding the fuse box felt like quite the accomplishment until I realized I don't know which one it or how to change em or anything. I don't know what to do, I'm a girl that knows nothing about cars, and just need some help with all this. I feel all by myself and am overwhelmed with no car... I just need to know if there even is a fuse for the alarm, what all these abbreviations mean, and any possible ideas to why the car isn't starting. I've never had this problem before and have no reason to believe it is the starter or alternator because it never acted funny starting or stalled or anything, but I can't say for sure. I'm pretty lost at this point and ANYTHING will help. So if anyone has any ideas, please please please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. THANK YOU already. ~Sarah Jane.

I will try my best for you.

Before you do anything, turn off the alarm. Raise the hood. Get someone to help you. Whilst someone is in the car, have them turn the key to start. Listen for any type of noises coming from the engine area, and communicate any heard noises heard back to me. We can start then there.

I believe the tech who just did your clutch didn't plug in the starter solenoid perfectly or the positive main starter cable from the battery wasn't tighten properly.

When you try to start the car watch the dome light if it goes dim or out then you need to charge the battery or replace it which could be the same problem with you're alarm, a low battery in the remote or if the remote has been wet it could be shorting out causing this problem..

If it is a manual transmission then chances are your clutch is worn out and will need to be replaced. If automatic, check to ensure you have the proper level of fluid in the transmission.

Clutch judder & vibrates, toyota corolla.

The problem is the clutch and the engine flywheel are heat damaged, this is called clutch "chatter" You must have the entire clutch replaced and the flywheel machined smooth again. The damage is caused by excessive slipping of the clutch on take off. Release the clutch asap when you start off, do not slip it for long periods this turns it nearly read hot.

Where is the bolt drain transmission of toyota corolla ve 98

There are two plugs. The drain plug you will see by looking at the tranny from driver side near the drive axle. The fill plug is the one you stick your finger in and is somewhere below the clutch slave cylinder. Undo them with a 24mm socket. And yes, open the fill plug first. For diagram, click the link below:-- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/05/where-is-transmission-drain-bolt-on.html --------- this should help.thanks.Helpmech.
