Wheel bearing out on steering axle, 1500 ext cab silverado '03 What do I have to remove or detach to get to the inside bearing?

I'm almost positive that you will find the inner bearing in the back of the brake rotor behind an oil seal. replace the oil seal when you do the bearing. Remove the brake caliper and the center axle nut and the rotor will literally fall off. Hope this helps.

Rear brake job

pull the two bolts holding the caliper on and pull the caliper off now get a C clamp and compress the piston all the way into the caliper now remove the two bolts in the caliper hanger and remove the hanger now the caliper should just pull off ( if corroted hit it with a hammer ) now just put every thing back to gether the way they came off...............WHEN DONE WITH THE BRAKE JOB MAKE SURE TO START THE TRUCK AND PUMP THE BRAKES UNTIL THE PEADLE IS HARD. YOUR PEADLE WILL GO RUTE TO THE FLOOR AT LEAST ONE TIME MAYBE MORE.

2004 Toyota Camry Brakes

Raise the vehicle up and remove the rims & tires

Remove the brake pads, and then remove the calipers from the caliper retention brackets, do NOT remove the brake hoses from the calipers.

Remove the caliper retaining brackets from the hub assemblies (2 large bolts on backside of the bracket)

Tap the brake rotors off of the hubs, hit them from the back side of the rotor.

No big mysteries here, this is a very easy job.
