Subaru 1992 loyale front wheel drive question; drive train
Car lost all drive line power wife rolled it home down the hill. Wondering if the clicking sounds I let go on finally caused the half shaft / shafts problem. Could this de-couple the transmission so it acts like the trans is dead when it's really just the axles? They are $70 each and the car is great otherwise so I'd put $200 - $300

I'm thinking this is a broken wire issue to the rear. Pull the switches out in the rear and check for good powers and grounds. As far as the slow window operation.. that is just a window motor that is near its end.
it could be a bad driver door master switch or bad window motors, the best way to pin point the problem is to remove the door panel off every door that doesnt work and then test for power and ground while hitting the switch, if it has power and ground then motor is no good,start there, another option is to test for power and ground at the switches,
Your rear emergency cables are frozen. You can try pulling back toward the rear of the vehicle on the center cable while someone inside wiggles the lever up and down slightly NOT all the way up. Then by grabbing individually the left cable and twisting and bending it,it may release. Do the same to the other side. Soon as you can get a can of Liquid wrench or an equivelent, NOT WD-40, and soak the two rear lines going to each wheel. ASAP, the rear cables and any other frozen/worn parts should be replaced.
Yeks, quick (when engine cool) make sure your radiator is FULL and engine is AIR BLED at the thermastadt. If your master brake cylinder is assisted power your DIAPHARM could be ruptured. Causes low vac in system so heater controls only work at idle the changes to cold when driving
