Durango error in odometer window - nobu5

Hey Gord,
Try disconnecting your CPU for about 3 to five minutes, this will reset your CPU. Then see if it starts. Note. there is probably a faulty microswitch somewhere causing your CPU to overheat and cut everthing off (No BuS). Try keeping it cold with a zip-lock bag of ice (keep your CPU dry). Your Durango should work as long as you keep the CPU is cold.

How to fix 1999 jeep cherokee sport

You mean it cranks but does not start, right ?
The NoBus on the display means the cluster is not talking to the computer. That could be a wiring problem or a component problem.
Have you checked the engine computer for trouble codes ?

Gauges dont work and stalls while driving

Although your question is unclear, I think you are trying to say that the vehicle is stalling out, and that you have an error on the dashboard display saying "NOBUS."
The "NOBUS" error means that the dashboard display is not receiving data from the main computer.
First, check that your GROUND BUS CABLE and GROUND STRAP are in good condition and making good contact. If the grounding is good, your main computer has failed, or the main computer connection is loose or dirty. ALSO, CHECK TO BE SURE THAT YOUR MAIN COMPUTER MODULE HAS GOOD GROUND.

My speedometer is not reading my speed! My accelaration and the power to go is completely there. If I'm on the freeway or parked, gauge says that I'm still going 25 mph. The gauge does move, but is FAR...

If the odometer is correct, the problem is in the speedometer head. If the odometer is also not accurate, it may be the speed sensor in the transmission.

Speed Odometer and Oil Gauge Drops

GMC yukons are notorious for gauge malfunctions, there are recalls for some models
However, if you have recently changed your battery this problem can occur and will take some driving time 30 min-60 min for the computer to fully reset.

No BUS on odometer

I used to have the NoBUS show up on the odometer also, but always while driving. The immediate fix was a sharp rap on the top of the cluster with my fist. To fix it permanently, I removed the cluster, cleaned the contacts both cluster and harness with spray contact cleaner, then applied some dielectric grease to prevent any further corrosion.
