Question about 1993 Plymouth Acclaim
I know how to fix this because i did the exact same thing! Yes the back seat does come out.. if you're looking toward the back of the car look kinda underneath the seat (the part you sit on, not the back) and you should see some screws(or even bolts i don't exactly remember) remove those and you can remove the bottom.
Next you should see some screws (or bolts) for the back where the seat was and 2 more at the top (if I remember correctly) remove those and you take out the back seat completely... Push through the insulation and you're in your trunk! Just know when you push through the insulation it's hard to get it back the way it was
I believe all said and done there are 6 bolts to remove and you can do it with normal tools.

I don't know about your Acclaim, but my back seats come down. I have done the same thing and unlocked the seats at the top, let them down and retireved my keys.
