If the engine wont turn over take to air intake hose off at the throttle control valve and while holding the valve open spray something that contains ether, i use brake cleaner or carb/choke cleaner (both avaliable at any auto parts store) if this does not fix the problem then you should check the amperage of the battery. it should be between 14 and 16 amps. also check the the fuel injectors are clean. a dirty fuel injector can severly drop the preformance of an FI engine. hope it works

97 Buick 3800 new fuel pump coils are good crankshaft sensor new turn over but won't fire turns over one in awhile it hits could it be my timing chain jumped or bad

Run a diagnostic test on it to find any codes. Most likely its the engine control module, but any sensor can cause it to not start.

1992 buick lasbre 3800 will not start. Cranks like out of timing .

check the firing order to start with . Next see if the cam shaft is turning (broken belt/chain) Next check ignition timing is correct.. Check for spark as it may be the immobiliser is not working.

1999 fire bird wont start

Sounds like a fuel problem, when was the last time the fuel filter was chg.? If that is not an issue, than a fuel pressure test is in order, It should have around 48 to 50 p.s.i.

1988 Chevy S10 Durango Pickup, Won't start will fire

sounds like ignition module inside of distributor cap under distributor rotor button.these do go bad and can easily be replaced.strong suspicion from your details that this is the culprit.

I have a 1990 buick lesabre that wont start

Timing chains do not go bad on a 3800. The old 3.8 b engines did. Try a crank sensor. My timing set in my 3800 has 293500.00 miles on it.
