Question about 1988 Buick Regal
Have a 1988 buick 3800 died turns over but will not start has fire to plugs sounds like it is out of time tryed a new crank sen with no luck it has fuel 43 lbs this car has 56000 miles
If the engine wont turn over take to air intake hose off at the throttle control valve and while holding the valve open spray something that contains ether, i use brake cleaner or carb/choke cleaner (both avaliable at any auto parts store) if this does not fix the problem then you should check the amperage of the battery. it should be between 14 and 16 amps. also check the the fuel injectors are clean. a dirty fuel injector can severly drop the preformance of an FI engine. hope it works
