1986 Ford f150 rear lights

My taillight went out, replaced the bulb, didnt fix it. Checked fuses, they were all good. I checked the wiring, and had a broken wire dangling in the back, and two small wiring plugs with the same color wire broken off. I havent done anything to it, and now i have no taillights at all, and when i turn the right turn signal on the left rear blinks, and when i turn the left turn signal on nothing happens? IM lost, i needa wiring diagram for the rear of my truck so i can starighten it all out. Thank you.

I have a 93 Ford f150 taillights don't work. The turn signals work, brake lights work, back up lights work, just don't have taillights. fuses, bulbs are all good. Can you give me an answer.

Did you check and ground, anywhere? Usually the front and rear park lamps are the same. Do the front park lamp works? The circuit usually goes hot when you turn on the head lamp switch. Did you check applicable fuses for voltage? Use a test lite to check voltage.
If front park lamps work, I don't think it is the fuse, probably the wiring circuit going to the rear.

Had a similar problem with my 97 power stroke. somehow the plug in the wiring harness below the bed at the rear of the truck vibrated loose I had all lights but brake lights. Or it may be a ground wire issue. Good luck. Let us know how it works out.

2007 Expedition no rear taillights or license plate lights. One fuse under hood was blown(25amp) replaced it and checked other fuse and relay-all good. Still no taillights??

Either the bulbs need replacing (minor electrical surge) or you have wires grounding out prematurely. Check the all the fuses one more time, there could be something directly related.

No inst. panel,parking,taillights

I would check the ground wire for the parking light circuit, especially around and in the light socket where you replaced the bulb.

Anyone know anything about the wiring for a Ford Falcon XR6? Rear lights do not work including number plate light, fuses and relays all appear good, but strangely enough when I pull the rear lights fuse...

seems that taillights and dash lights are on the same circuit, they did that years ago so that if your dash lights went out you knew that you had no taillights, chech the grounds for the taillights, and check for voltage at the socket, from there its a search for broken wires

check fuses. If fuses are good use a voltmeter at the connections to see if you are getting power. If you are not then you will have to run down a short in the wire.

1997 ford f150 - Tail lights stopped working. I have checked the fuses and all are good. I checked the tail lights and the bulbs are good. Any ideas? I have seen posts about some "relays' but I can't...

No relays for rear side lights! will be ether broken wire (unlikley) or corrosion in the connecter to rear (very likely)
Have a good one..........Bruce

Rear lights wont go on but brake lights work

Fuse box is a good place to start, and check under hood for power distribution box with more fuses.

Taillights are not working

check for voltage in the socket. positive is the center connection. if you have no voltage there, then you may be right. Make sure that you check the wires.

Brake lights

If all of the wiring, fuses, bulbs, and switches are good (which is what it seems since everything else works fine including the turn signals on the passenger taillight), sounds like it may just be a bad socket. I have a somewhat similar problem on a 1986 F150.
