Question about 1991 Volvo 240
My odometer quit working shortly after I bought the car about 16 months ago. The trip meter doesn't work either. My speedometer works fine. The mileage was 16,970 when the odometer quit. I have probably put about 1,500 to 2000 max miles on the car since I've owned it. I was told by one mechanic that it was the speed sensor that needed to be replaced. Is this true.
