Question about 1998 Honda Civic
I carefully razored off old tint off the back window of my dx 2 door coupe, took some time, but all came off and looks great (was previously bubbled)however, I may have damaged the rear window defrost as only 1 line in the back window is working now. I only just got this car, so not sure if it was always not working, or if I damaged it. Can it be fixed and how much do you think it will cost. car is 1998 honda civic dx
Unfortunately they cannot be repaired the circuit is intergrated with the window removing aftermarket tint would not damage the filliment inside the window so chances are you did not damage it. there should be a plug-in at the base of the window behind the panel check to see if the contacts are corodid and the wires are in good condition. if there is no visible corrosion or damged then you need to purchase a new one.... please rate this.
