Could be due to failure of the sun roof switch, the limit switch module, the sun roof actuator, the sunroof module or the 30A PWR WINDOWS PWR SUN ROOF CIRCUIT BREAKER in the I/P fuse block.

no there isnt first up check your fuse box for a blown fuse if the fuse isnt blown then renew the relay that operates all these windows and sun roof the relay is usually behind the glove box hope this helps regards keith cameron

Power windows


sorry dont know what you mean ? what windows work and sunroof ?. there is a relay for front doors and one for the back doors, sun roof is a control board fitted to the switch.

Inalfa sun roof installed 3-29-04 in a Cad CTS 2004--will slide open but will not close all the way--any ideas on what to check?


may have slipped on the track mechanism and needs adjusted custom car shop may help with this..good luck..

Have you checked the fuses yet ? Sounds like a major power fuse has blown.

You apparently have a short in the wiring or the switches are sticking.

Sun roof will nt close cant find the rite fuse


check fuse F1.401, 30 amp in central junction box (in truck). Check your owner manual for fuse information.
Headliner must be removed to access motor.

Closing sun roof motor bad


LOWER ROOF PANEL UN BOLT MOTOR TO SUNROOF 2-3 BOLTS REMOVE MOTOR THEN SLOWLY PUSH SUNROOF DOWN TILL IT ALIGNS WITH THE ROOF THEN REINSTALL THE MOTOR AND ROOF PANEL.
