Yet another 330i that just die's for no reason. It's a very common problem with MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor. The next time it dies just unhook the MAF sensor which sits on the large black pipe that goes from you air filter to the engine, black square thing. The engine should start and drive fine but you should change the MAF when possible.

I live on the east coast and we just had snow and a lot of rain. I have not driven my car for 2 days. I started my 330CI 2003 BMW this morning. The engine turned over, the car ran for 1 second and then died. I tried to start it again, but the lights flashed, the windshield wipers turned on, the engine clicked, but it did not turn over. I left it alone. For the past few months, my car has been running rough off and on.
