Question about 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander
I see that some other people have had the same issue with not being able to turn the air/heat knob all the way to one side, in order to switch from heat to air(or vice versa). Mine is stuck on air, but it's getting cold out so we need the heat. The mechanics want to charge $900 to fix it, but I think I'll try first. Can you help me out?
TAKE A PEEK UNDER THE HOOD IN THE FUSE PANEL FOR THE FUSE AND RELAY FOR THE COOLING FAN. IF THE FUSE IS BLOWN THEN REPLACE IT. IF YOU SUSPECT THE RELAY TO BE BAD THEN TEST IT BY SWAPPING THE FAN RELAY WITH ANOTHER ONE WITH THE SAME PINS ON THE BOTTOM. MAKE SURE IT IS THE SAME SIZE AS WELL. HOPE THIS HELPS.. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED. THANKS FOR AN HONEST RATING AND FOR USING FIX-YA. GOOD LUCK

Dear Brake Drum Remover,
I'm gonna tell you how to pull this drum off, ya ready?First off, get the rear of the vehicle up in the air safely, Then pull the rear tires off. After those are off then take a gander at the face of the drums, are there shiny brass looking screws installed on the face of that drum?Ifso remove those counterclockwise, then, take a hammer a shock the face off the drum firmly about three times. Now, go to the opposite side on the face of the drum and do that again, keep on doin that until you can wiggle the drum off by hand...easy as that, any other questions get back to me. I'M HERE TO HELP!!!
