I have same problem on my 1993 318I, the fuel consumption is high around 14 miles/ Gallon in the city. There is no sign of any problem with the fuel system on the scanner. Could be a dirty injectors problem?

Sounds like you may have a problem with your fuel pressure regulator, this is the most common problem with getting too much fuel.

Smells of petrol

Have a mechanic locate the leak, this is dangerous. A pot of water will absorb gas vapors, to keep it from spilling put a towel in it.

Petrol smell in side the car

Possible there is leak or a joint fault in the fill cap, the fuel tank filling hose clamp , the fuel line to the fuel pump , fuel filter.
Now since petrol is highly volatile a small gap can make the gas smell into the cabin. Please start your check from the tank to the pump and the return fuel pipe, checking for leaks which can be easily tightened or a faulty fuel line changed.

I have a gas smell in my oil on my 1995 Mustang GT 5.0. It is milkly

if its a petrol smell then maun suspect is head gasket leaking between a water port and a oil return gallery with the help of a piston hence the petrol as well ,without a complete strip down its impossible to say its between one and two or three and four cylinders or whatever if it was just water in the oil then its highly feasable its a radiator where the oil cooler is in the rad .But this smells of petrol so go the whole hog and pull the heads off

High CO is caused by too much fuel. The carburetor needs adjusted or rebuilt.

The way to check your coils is to start the car and unplug them one by one and see if the note changes, if you unplug one and the note dosnt change then thats the one thats fried.By swapping them around itl still be down a cylinder and will be hard to tell. But yes i bet it will be a coil as i have a nissan also and they do fail and makes it sound like a subaru and smell off petrol.I hope this helps.
P.S i love those S13 200sx, great shape.

Burning smell

The sulphur smell is the result of the emmisions control system. I have an 06 Expedition with the exact same engine and emmisions system as yours. When the engine is cold, you don't smell that sulphur smell, but as soon as the engine gets to operating temperature, the exhaust gasses smell sulphury. Nothing wrong with your ride - they all do that. The dealership sometimes spray the underbody with some type of rubber to protect the vehicle against rust. This rubber stuff sometimes get sprayd on the exhaust as well and then you will smell "burning tires" after driving the vehicle. This will go away after a few thousend miles though.
