Question about 1996 Ford Taurus
How do i get to the back spark plugs to change them.
I agree with solution 1 but also be sure to put the dielectric grease on the inside of the spark plug boots. without this they will arc and cause misfire and this will ruin your cat. converters in the exhaust system.

You have to remove the parts that are in the way, then lay on top of the engine to get at the plugs, you will need a good spark plug boot removal tool as well or you will tear the plug boots, the plugs don't need changing until 100,000 miles.
