I looked in a book on this, as I didn't actually go out and look into the fuse box, but it is a numbered fuse box, so it should be rather easy t locate. Look for fuse 23, it is a 30 AMP fuse that runs off the Blower motor resistot block. Als it shows Fuse 17, a 10 AMP fuse that must control the Manual temperature control head. Either way, look at them both. If nothing is amiss there, look to the Blower Motor Resistor. It is below the glove box inside the car. Remove the right lower ari duct to get at it. If the fuses are okay, check the connector for power. If you have power, then perhaps the resistor that pokes into the housing is faulty. If you take it out, you may see that it is burned out on one or more of the little coils inside. They're not too expensive to replace.
I haven't done this on this model, but if this is a temperature controlled module, there might not be a resistor in there- I'm not certain on the 300M, but it is worth a look. Advance says so- about 32 to 164 bucks for it. I'd imagine the 164 dollar version is for the automatic climate controller- It sure looks fancy... but you won't know exactly until it is out- and if it's not working right now, it is definitely worth the look. The old-fashioned version should look like it is burnt out, but I imagine the electronic fancy-shmancy one won't. It may have to be electronically tested for resistance.The book I have does not outline that.
Anyway, it should not be a huge job to investigate. but if you have power to the resistor, the issue could well be in there. Another note, however: Unplug the blower motor from its' harness as long as you are down there, and carefully run a 12 volt source to it. Make sure you ground the other end of your connection to the motor. so you have two wires, a + and a -. If the motor runs, then it is the resistor. if it does not run, then it is likely the motor. Double check everything before you go buying parts, and never "Just" replace parts without proper testing. You could spend alot of money and get nowhere fast. Let us know how this works for you, but be methodical. Fuses first. Then the power to the blower and the resistor, then the motor. Good luck!!

I have a 2009 Impala and the HVAC fan quit.

It's probably not going to be a fuse issue , you people have limited thinking because you have no clue how the electronic's work on your vehicles . The HVAC contol module as battery supplies yes , but control the blower motor with PWM - pulse width modulation controller .

Blower Motor Control Processor
The blower motor control processor is an interface between the HVAC control module and the blower motor. The blower motor speed control, battery positive voltage and ground circuits enable the control processor to operate. The HVAC control module provides a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to the control processor in order to command the blower motor speed. The processor supplies 12 volts to the blower motor through the blower motor voltage supply circuit. The control processor uses the blower motor ground as a low side control to adjust the blower motor speed.

Most of the time the Blower Motor Control Processor is bad , without testing this is just a guess . Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.

I have a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander and we are looking to replace a fuse for the rear air. Can you tell me where it is located?

Fuse for rear air ????? No air coming from rear vent's ? That would be caused by the HVAC blower motor not working . Probably not a fuse issue , if the fuse is blown you have a bigger issue . Fuse's don't just blow for no reason - electrical short circuit, too much current draw etc.. . More then likely it's a problem with the blower motor control module or the blower motor . Located behind the right rear trim panel . But go ahead an check the fuse anyway , fuse # 26 - 25 amp located in the underhood fuse / relay box . marked RR -BLWR/ 110 VAC
Auxiliary Air Speed
The auxiliary blower motor is controlled by the front auxiliary blower motor switch. If the vehicle is equipped with rear DVD (U32), the auxiliary blower motor can be controlled by the overhead console, vehicle entertainment system (VES). The front auxiliary blower switch must be in the AUX position in order to control blower speed from the VES. The VES will send a class 2 message to the HVAC control module requesting a blower motor speed.
The auxiliary blower motor control module is an interface between the HVAC control module and the auxiliary blower motor. The auxiliary blower motor speed control, auxiliary blower motor speed signal, blower motor speed control, and ground circuits enable the control processor to operate. The HVAC control module sends the commanded blower motor speed to the control processor through a 0 to 8-volt linear ramped blower motor speed control circuit. As the blower motor speed control voltage increases, the blower motor speed increases. The control processor sends the actual blower speed to the HVAC control module through a 0 to 12-volt blower motor speed signal circuit. The control processor uses the blower motor ground as a low side control to adjust the blower motor speed. The underhood fuse block supplies 12 volts to the blower motor through the blower motor voltage supply circuit.

Is there a blower motor relay or fuse on a 1995 Mazda Protege lx?

That fuse sounds like it powers the ac compressor.
The blower motor usually takes a 30 amp fuse.
Does the blower motor work if you hook it to direct voltage ?

Blowing fuses on blower motor 2006 e250 econoline

Blower motor fan not working .What is the fuse labeled as (were all the fuses are)

There are two fuses associated with the blower motor. Fuse #1 MULTI-PURPOSE 25A is the blower motor fuse, and fuse #15 MULTI-PURPOSE 10A is the blower motor relay switch fuse.

I am trying to figure out which relay is for the front blower motor. anyone know?

Hi!!
Look ion the INSTRUMENT PANEL Fuse Box, there are two blower motor relays and two fuses, look on the inside of the relay cover for a diagram. The relay you are looking for should be labeled FRONT BLOWER MOTOR RELAY and the rear one should say AUXILIARY BLOWER MOTOR RELAY.
The TWO fuses with the same name on passenger compartment fuse box check:
  • fuse #39 30A fuse. AUXILIARY BLOWER MOTOR
  • fuse #36 30A fuse. AUXILIARY BLOWER RELAY

Heater does not work

Check heater fuse.
If fuse good - could be a failure of the blower fan motor or blower control switch.
If fuse bad - bad blower fan motor could have blown the fuse.
DO: check fuse, then blower motor.

A/C).
I'd expect your blower resistor to be good - when they fail, the blower only will work on HIGH setting.

My interior fan on my 1989 300CE just stopped working today. Is it as simple as a fuse for that?

sometimes it can be a fuse but not always. there are three components that usually cause the blower to stop working. 1-fuse 2-blower motor regulator 3- blower motor. The blower motor and the blower motor regulator both sit in the same housing under the windshield beneath the cowl cover. The blower motor fuse should be a single strip fuse by itself near the left shock tower.

Did you find out a solution to your problem? I have a 1996 trooper that is showing most of the same symptoms that you have. I'm curious as to your fix. Was it simply a bad ground?
