There are only 2 things that run the length of your car.

1. Gas
2. Brake Fluid.

If its gas then you have a cracked or broke gas line. And if its brake fluid you have a ruptured line.

A simple dab and smell will tell you witch it is. If you are not mechanically inclined i would take it to your preferred mechanic shop.

SOURCE: driver side front greease is leaking out behind

Hi, look at it where this grease is coming out and it should be surrounded by a rubber boot. The boot will be split open or a large cut in it. This is your CV joint. It has worn out due to the loss of lube and this is why you hear the noise. It will get much worse and the other side should be very close to being in the same condition. I would check the boot on this. The CV joint looks like a drive shaft joint. You can with a manual of your Dodge do the work your self if you are inclined to do so, can be a difficult task, I would recommend having both done maybe 1 per month or payday if you are like most of us in this economy, but I can't walk you through the steps unless I was on site. Find a certified mechanic and get several estimates on getting this done. If you put it off, you can looses a wheel going down the highway, we don't want this to happen!!! So, get several estimates, they are not extremely high. Please keep me posted in our comment section under my user name below, as I would like to know the out come and progress. I hope I have given you some direction to go on and found the problem, I am sure that is it. Please rate this thread post for me, as I know you will be kind. Keep me posted,
Sincerely,

I have a 2005 ram 1500 4x4.when i put it four wheel drive high it feels like its in low and back tire on driver side skids

There's something seriously wrong in the transfer case or controls. It seems the rear driveshaft is locked up, and the front wheels are driving. The driver's side rear tire is skidding because it's trying to turn backward - rear passenger rear tire is going forward and rear differential has no option but to turn the driver tire in reverse (driveshaft locked). DON'T TRY TO DRIVE IT. Get it checked out and fixed.

Leaking fluid around left front wheel of 2001 Audi A6

If it is near the tire it is brake fluid. The brake fluid reservoir is back by the firewall driver side of engine compartment. Your car uses DOT 4 brake fluid.

My 2004 lincoln navigator is giving tire pressure monitoring system fault and front of driver side is extreeme low and take long time to rise.what to do?

OK, the tpms is a separate issue from the front drivers' side being low and takes some time to rise.

The shock or strut may be leaking in the front.

I would check to see if the ride leveling has something to do with the tpms error showing up.

Also, check that all tire pressures are even around all 4 wheels.

Im am rotating tires on a 94 jeep cherokee the

Move the passenger side rear tire to the front, and passenger side front to driver side rear. Switch the driver side rear tire to the front and driver side front to passenger side rear. Repeat this "X" pattern each time you rotate the tires. Rotate the tires from side to side if the tires are different sizes on the front and rear.

This is the better solution. Hope helped (remember rated this help)

Good luck.

Strange noise from front drivers side after approaching 30mph.

2 possibilities bearings or damaged rotor. Inspect the rotor, and you can jack the vechicle up just by that tire leaveing the tire free to turn. grab the wheel on the sides try and shake top to bottom in and out, then side to side in and out. If you have play more than likely its your hub bearings.
