Question about 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I saw your reply to a similar question w/ a jeep and wanted to see if you could he me at all. I've had the Jeep for nearly two years now and this is the first time it's done this. It has full battery power, all the guages come on, but it won't " start ", it just drags on and on...Do you think it's the solinoid ( sp? ) problem as you suggested for that other jeep on Aug. 31st, 2008? Please let me know. Thanks. firstname.lastname@example.org
Try lightly hitting the starter with a hammer while trying to start the car.
If it starts then you need a stater.
But wait, you said it drags on and on.
Does this mean the engine is turning over?
If you reply yes to that question than replace the crank sensor on the transmission bell housing to start wirh.
