Question about 2005 Ford F-150
I STARTED TO ROLL UP THE WINDOW ON THE DRIVERS SIDE IN MY TRUCK AND SOMETHING INSIDE THE DOOR POPPED REAL LOUD AND THE WINDOW WON'T WORK NOW. IS THERE A WAY TO GET A DIAGRAM OF THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR SO MY HUSBAND CAN LOOK AT IT?
I just replaced the window regulator in my sisters 2005 f-150.it took about 30 mins. the pulley on the motor was all messed up and tangled the wires on it.it cost me 185.00 at the dealer.it is a poor design.

You can buy a HAYNES Repair Manual for about 25$ and it will show you how to take apart the door. Most likely the Regulator mechanism needs to be replaced. The part is about 160$ and if he is handy should take about two hours to replace.

I am not sure if you can download anything, but you could purchase a Haynes repair manual, but try and look at it first to determine if it has what you are looking for. You can find those in most stores such as Autozone. I used to live in a town where there was a public library where I was able to look things up in a Chilton's manual and make copies.
Actually Chilton's has an online: http://www.chiltondiy.com/

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
