Question about 1992 Honda Accord
I have a 1992 honda accord lx, and after getting off work the other night, I went to start the car, but it wouldn't start. It wasn't even turning over. I saw that the cable head leading to the battery was no good, and changed the whole cable, but still didn't start. After removing the ignition wire from starter, we were able to start the car. The idle speed is very high, and shifting seems to be delayed. It is an automatic, but the shifting of the car seems to be like a stickshift?? I'm not sure if the idle speed being high caused something to short circuit, so I thought I would mention it. I desperately need help with this, as it is my only means of transportation at this time.
Honda has recalled many models for faulty ignition switches. You might look there for your problem.
