Question about 2004 Ford Taurus
Most of the time when I go to start my car it makes a screeching sound, but will not start. It's been hooked up to the computer, and nothing was found to be wrong and I've since had a new starter installed and it's still doing it, in fact, it seems worse. Any suggestions?
Hello check your starter solenoid to make sure its not sticking when you release the key lightly tap while someone turns over if it stops most likely needs replacing one other thing is the shims between the block and the starter there may be to many wich would keep the starter drive from fully engaging to your flywheel when they replaced your starter i am taking they did check the teeth on the flywheel goodluck please rate
