Question about 2002 Pontiac Grand Am
2002 Pontiac Grand Am 2.2L automatic trans. Trac Off light comes on and transmission shifts hard. Replaced speed sensor and BCM and still have the same problem. Mechanic suggested trying to replace the ECM, but this is getting very expensive and I need some outside help with this.
Any possible solutions you could give to resolve thisproblem is very much appreciated. Thank you
I fixed my car. It cost me though. The problem was the coli pack. My car was misfiring, my mechanic checked the injectors and the cylinders, thankfully neither of those were the problem. It was the coil pack that went bad and caused it to misfire

I have the same problem. It is the ABS sensor on the wheel. He hooked it up to the computer and that is the code it gave him. I just don't have the money to fix it right now. The mechanic said it would be about 150 bucks or so to fix. I am sure it is the or so...lol. It doesn't keep my car from running. I am not doing anything about it until i can afford it. I have been driving with it on since the summer. Good Luck.
