2006 Civic EX IAT wiring? I have a five pin plug: 1 GRN/YEL (Ground for ECM/PCM sensors circuit) 2 RED/YEL(Sensor output (IAT)) 3 RED/BLU (Sensor output (VG )) 4 BLK/RED (Sensor output(VG-)) 5 BLK/YEL (Fuse 3 - Under-dash) Other than #2, which wire makes up the IAT circuit?

    Yes. Installing a simple chip from SLR. Their generic instructions are vague and messing with anything going to the OBD makes me nervous. It may or may not prove to be worth anything in conjunction with some other minor mods and I'll just switch back to OEM monitoring.

    I can't capture the diagram w/o blurring out the details. Thanks for the expertise.

Test for B+ voltage at pin # 1 RED wire , Test for window up signal at pin #2 gray with green stripe . Do you know how to do that ? Or you can just take a piece of wire ,with ends striped an jump pins 1 an 2 .If window still won't go up ,your motor regulator needs to be replaced more then likely .

Where is the fusible link for the cooling fan on a 93 Mercury Topaz?


I can supply only general information. There are actually three fusible links: a 20GA DK BLU (YEL wire), a 20GA BLU (RED/LT GRN wire), and a 14GA DK GRN (YEL wire). All three wires connect to the constant control relay module which has a RED output wire connected to the powertrain control module (PCM), a BLK/LT GRN wire connected to ground, two DK BLU wires connected to the electric cooling fan, a TAN/ORG wire connected to the PCM, a LT GRN/PPL wire connected to the fan, and a LT BLU wire connected to the PCM. Sorry for the roundabout description but it's all the information I have

Here's how it should work: Power for the instrument panel comes from the 7.5A ECU-B fuse in the instrument panel junction box (I/PJB). A WHT/BLK wire from the instrument panel is grounded in that box. The I/PJB also contains a 5A WARNING fuse which is connected to the instrument panel by a RED/YEL wire. The 5A BKUP LAMP fuse supplies power on a RED/BLU wire to the vehicle speed sensor (combination meter) and a LT GRN wire from sensor is connected to the instrument panel. In addition, a LT GRN/RED wire from the instrument panel connects to the ECM. The YEL/GRN and RED/BLU wires from the instrument panel connect to the body ECU. There are three ground wires: two WHT/BLK and one BRN

Which are the functional iat sensor wires on an accordd 2008


It all depends on which engine your Accord is equipped with. This is really nice-to-know information when you are asking somebody for help with your engine control circuits.

For the 2.4L engine: At the MAF/IAT sensor connector, Pin #4, GREEN/BLACK is the "sensor ground" and Pin #5, RED/YELLOW is the "sensor input" for the IAT.

For the 3.5L engine: At the MAF/IAT sensor connector, Pin #1 GREEN/YELLOW is the "sensor ground" and Pin #2 RED/YELLOW is the "sensor input" for the IAT.
