Question about 2002 Jaguar X-Type
Hi there just tried fitting a cd multi changer to my car as per fitting instructions supplied, power there and everything but wont respond when i push the cd button on the head unit, does it need to be configured? if so how, will it be something that i can do myself??
I understand that there is a 'clear' or 'reset' button on some cd changers that must be pressed after unit is connected in car. The instructions for my model said to use the tip of a pencil.

My experience with the x type is that everything that is added must be introduced to the ecu/car before it will operate. If the same is to apply for the multichanger it would have to be carried out by somebody who has the correct equipment.
