So the brake lights are not working... The tail lights and reverse lights are fine but the brake light don't want to be fixed. So far, I've checked the bulbs (fine), the bulb casing (fine and clean), the fuses (fine), and changed the brake light switch... Nothing. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
-   All three lights are not coming on. I checked bulbs and fuses. I was told the brake light switch could be bad. I don't know where it's located.-   curtiswinsto
hello what i would do first disconnect the wires off the brake light switch test the power wire to make sure you have power to the switch if you do contact them to bypass the switch completely test see if your lights are lit if not i would trace the wiring back to the sockets contacts inside might be corroded or wires in the socket are not contacting the metal tab or broken at the crimp they sell replacement sockets you can splice into the harness if you dont have power at the break light wires you need to trace wires back to fuse panel first check to make sure there is not a secondary fuse box under your hood usually on drivers side near the strut tower usally says fuses goodluck please rate
