Usually red is pos. goes to constant power source. Orange or yellow to keyed power source. Blue is for power ant. and matched wires are your speaker wires. Match these to yours cars wires. Oh black goes to ground.

I have a 00 Ford explorer and it has a 02 stock stereo but It keeps turning off after I start my truck what can I do to get it fix

My experience in stereo's is limited, But I would say that its got a
wiring problem like a hot wire that is grounded or vise versa, or the stock stereo needs to be upgraded! Good luck hope this helps!

Iam try to wire a aftermarket stereo on a 1987 gmc jimmy using stock plug ins but every time i put on brakes stereo goes off Ive checked all wires to make sure none are bare also made sure nothing...

Could be a ground problem. You take the ground out of the harness and run it to the body or run a ground from the radio back to the body or both.

Replacing stock Delco stereo display unit Model #16161954 in my 1993 Buick Regal with another stock unit, do I just color match all the wires?

yeah. if you were going to put an after market cd player in there, you would actually need to purchase a wiring harness though. but yes, just match the wires, but be careful to not cross them, because those wires are small enough to melt if you cross them.
