1984 buick lesaber wipers stoped pulsing

Usually when the delay function fails, the problem is in the circuit board module on the wiper motor.
You would need to check the circuit with a meter, the module may be available without buying a wiper motor.

Delay wipers only work on high speed on 2000 chevy silverdo 1500 truck no delay

Hello, my name is Ben and I can help you with this problem. This is a very common problem with Chevy. You need what is known in most vehicles as a "pulse board". The pulse board is located inside the wiper motor control module. On many vehicles the pulse board is replaceable, unfortunately on your Silverado you must replace the entire Wiper Motor Control Module which is bolted onto the top of the wiper motor. To get to the wiper motor, first remove those little nut covers on the big end of the windshield wiper arms, if you slip a small screwdriver or your fingernail they just pop off. Now unbolt the windsheild wiper arms, before removing the wiper arms, mark their location on the windsheild with a grease pencil or magic marker. The arms are hard to remove, you need to kinda wiggle and pull at the same time, now that long plastic cowl needs to come off, those clips at the front edge just slide forward, then at each end lift up that rubber flap and remove those TORX screws. Remove the cowl and set it somewhere SAFE, it's easy to break. You will now see the control module mounted on the wiper motor, unplug the electrical connections and remove the TORX screws holding it to the motor. Assembly is the reverse of dis-assembly. If you have any trouble or questions, feel free to ask, Ben.

1995 gmc sierra 1500 windshield wipers work on high sometimes works on regular or mist settings

It is the pulse module inside the wiper motor. It has bad solder joints were the wiring connector is soldered to the pused module board. You can either replace the module or just touch up the solder joints yourself.

Cheers,
Sven

Wipers only work on high speed. washer pump work too. I have no low speed or delay for wipers. Is this a switch problem or is there a relay modual under the hood that could be bad

Hello, this is a very common problem for Chevrolet. Your wiper motor control module is bad. It's mounted directly onto the wiper motor. On some models you can replace the "pulse board" inside the control module. If not you need to replace the entire wiper motor control module. It depends on your level of skill and parts availability.

Windshield wipers only run on high

Hi, this is a common GM problem. I'm assuming you mean the front wipers. The wiper motor control module is most likely defective. The module is mounted directly to the wiper motor. You can probe the plug going into the motor with a digital multi-meter while operating the switch to verify the switch is good. On some of these you can replace the "pulse board" inside the control module, on some you must replace the module. Or, I have located an entire wiper motor assembly for your vehicle on EBAY for $80.40. Of course if you go the EBAY route check with the seller for fitment and to be sure the module is on the motor he is selling. It would be easier to just replace the module. Good luck and if you need anymore info, just leave a comment.

Windshield wipers will not turn off - 2003 Chevrolet Silverado

Fixed the wiper problem which was identical to Brad's by changing out the wiper module which is also called a pulse module or something of that nature. Pretty easy fix. You have to remove the grill that the wiper blades protrudes from in order to get to the motor (4 clips in front which can be removed by hand, remove radio antenna, a center push down retainer, two plastic end caps which pop off and then 1 star type screw on each end under the end caps). Getting the blades off seemed difficult. I used a small puller to pop them off after removing the nuts.

You can't buy this module at a regular parts store. I had to get it from the dealer so be prepared to spend $130 to $140 for the part or go to the salvage yard. Works great now.
