your blower motor is on the firewall side underneath that big row of main fuses. You have to remove the 10 mm bolts holding that panel to the firewall and it will pull forward.
I know in a lot of vehicles, the blower motor is attached to the firewall. If yours is beside the battery, they may be a chance something was unhooked or tore. It had to be something that was done when you changed the battery. I am not familiar with Buick Park Avenue's. Find the blower motor and check for loose wires. Check the fuse as well. I would say, from experience, it is a simple solution as a loose wire or blown fuse. It might have been perfect timing for the blower to go out. It does happen. The only way for the blower to still get power with the key off...means the resistor to the blower motor is bad...The resistor is located on the firewall...under the plastic shroud...this should fix your problem...nice Buick...:)

i haver a 85 buick lesaber it cuts out when i start it or should i say i loose power when try to start it and have to wait a while about a day before it starts again. there are a lot of loose wires at the harness but i nees to know exactly where the problem is accuring.
