You need go on line internet look up book fourth edition diesel fundamentals and service book by frank j. thiessen and davis n. dales it has pictures diagram information on stanadyne diesel pump, cummins,detroit,caterpillar, and ambac international distributor pumps.

I have a h1 hummer that will not start i have changed the glow plugs and the controler also the box on the injecter pump. I am geting fuel and the glow plugs are working. The hummer has set for a year....

Diesel fuel doesn't go bad like gasoline, at least not as fast. I've been around diesels in construction equipment and sometime a machine will sit for a couple years and still start right up. You have other problems. I don't know that much about the Hummer diesels but, Ford uses a high pressure oil pump to fire the injectors. The main oil pump supplies oil to the high pressure oil pump reservoir and then the high pressure pump supplies oil to the injectors. If Hummer uses a similar system the reservoir may have drained down and there is no oil for the high pressure pump to pump. Ford has plug where a person can fill that reservoir manualy if necessary. Maybe try cranking it some more, don't crank it more than 10-15 seconds at a time. Walk away from it for 10 minutes or so, then try again, make sure you let the glow plugs cycle. If it don't start after a half dozen tries, you may have to have a mechanic look at it. I'm sorry I can't be more help.

I would take it to a good injection pump shop. Injection pumps are pretty finiky to work on. They require some special test equipment also. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

Rebuilding injection pump

What you are looking for does not exist outside Stanadyne. The GM service manual refers their own mechanics to send the pumps out for anything other than basic adjustments. Even the Haynes Diesel Engine Repair Manual, part no. 10330, gives no info on rebuilding or repairing these. They tell you to send it out as well. You might check out The Diesel Page on the net and you may find someone who has done what you want to do and can talk you through it.Good luck.

1995 Chevrolet Tahoe 6.5 Diesel

I have a 1996 Chevy 3500 6.5 TD, it had two fuel pumps installed. The symptom  the engine dies abruptly. Will not start again. I have the "Helm" OEM service manual for the truck, the closest thing referenced to your 0018 Cam reference Pulse, is Inj Pmp Cam Reference missed. The injection is manufactured  by Stanadyne for Chevrolet. It is an electronic fuel pump that on mine was located directly in the V of the engine and covered with a plastic "beauty" shield that I was told just baked the electronic components of the fuel pump. Chevrolet had a recall on their fuel pumps back in 2003 that were on 1996 and 1997 6.5 TD due to the low sulfur fuels, it paid for replacement by the dealer if this is your original fuel pump. The injector pump has a circuit board that plugs into the right side of the pump as you look at the engine from the front. There are aftermarket PMI's that come with extended wiring harness and plug. The idea is that you throw the pretty plastic 6.5TD cover away and mount the new PMI on the air box intake with some self tapping screws. This keeps the electronics cooler and then if the PMI craps out, you don't have to change the whole pump, which is a pain. Here's the good news, the PMI cost $300, the injector assembly from Chevy $1800, from Stanadyne $1300 for a rebuilt one. You may only have fried the PMi and thus if you get the PMI remote kit from a Stanadyne dealer, usually a good diesel shop will know one (all they make is fuel pumps), it will save you a bundle.
