You need to tell us what year/make/model/engine size you are asking about and then we can make an educated guess.

Ok. I'll give you my best guess, although I am not a Dodge Stratus expert. Based upon your description of the problem, I am to assume that the vehicle has problems accelerating up to speed, but once there, cruises ok unless you are going uphill or need to accelerate quickly, then power falls off rapidly and acceleration returns very slowly. If that is accurate, I would suspect the EGR valve. This is because at ihighway cruising speeds the EGR valve is pretty much wide open, letting exhaust gases back into the intake. When you need to accelerate, pressing the accelerator results in intake vacuum drop. This is partially compensated for by closing the EGR valve. If the EGR fails to close or sticks partway open, the exhaust gases will lower intake vacuum even further, and rob engine power. This can also cause the onboard computer to force a downshift to the transmission, as vacuum sensors are used to determine engine loading and the need to reduce gearing. In addition, a partially open EGR valve can cause erratic idle as it affects static intake vacuum (EGR is normally closed at idle) and the onboard computer must continually compensate, resulting is unstable idling.

I have a 2005 Ford mustang v6 model. When in park on idle with the air on the car vibrates. Is this a normal action or is something wrong.

When using the a/c it puts a load on the vehicle, and a drop in the rpm(revolutions per minute) is normal. If the vibration does not stop when to accelerate or at hiway speeds then something is amiss - otherwise it is normal!!

Engine missing out, spitting and sputtering

the problem you describe indicates a air/fuel ratio problem so I would be looking at any hoses that may have perished, MAP/MAF sensors and coil problems. If it is possible then get a fault code reading as it will save money from "guess" repairing

Oil pressure gauge reading

Normal is really any place in the middle of the gauge.
Depending on the age and condition of the engine, and the temp of the oil, oil pressure at idle should be at least 25-35 psi and at cruising speed between 40 and 60 psi.

2005 Ford Freestar has a check engine light. On Friday night it started sputtering when we accelerated on the road. Runs fine at idle speed with no miss or sputter. What do you suggest?

Any time the check engine light is on, the first thing to do is have the code retrieved. It will most likely tell you what the problem is and with that information you can determine the proper fix. There are too many variables to make a proper diagnosis over the internet. I suspect fuel delivery issues.

95 Summit 1.5L Mitsubishi engine miss /lack of power

Somewhere along the the line you may have a fuel blockage or a good dose of water in your fuel tank.Check the water in tank 1st.Add 1 litre of metholated spirits to every 20 litres of fuel. This will allow the water to break down and be burnt through the motor over time.Do this twice. If this does not work, there may be a glob of **** in the fuel tank that blocks the pickup. If this is the problem, the tank needs to be taken out and cleaned.I hope this is a start to get you back on the road.

Transmission Bucks on hills

Replace plugs and wires at the same time and this will fix it. It is not a transmission problem. Common customer problem at a dealership I worked at. Carbon tracking on plugs and wires will cause this , so replace both at the same time to fix.
