Question about 1996 Chevrolet Camaro
1996 camaro z28 when you bring it up slow you can go to 3500 rpms sounds real good. But when you punch it it just breaks up and goes nowhere. Changed the cap and rotor changed the fuel filter checked all plugs and wires
I had the same problem and it was my optic spark. They have all failed between 100-140 thousand miles. I bought mine from gm it was expensive 500 bucks but no company has been able to make an after market distributor that will run with the lt1

Check your mass air flow (MAF) sensor. That should help with the problem.
