Question about 1986 Chevrolet El Camino
I have taken the door apart and the linkage that goes to the handle is off the handle and it is baffeling me how it is attached. It is made so when you lift the handle the linkage shoves down on the lock mechanism. But the linkage just goes through a hole at a right angle at the top and also thrugh the lock mechanism. I you have a diagram please share with me to keep me from tearing the other door apart to find out. Thanks
Where the rod end goes in to the door handle there should be a clip that snaps down over the rod to keep it locked in to the handle.
