In order to solve this there are tests to be run to isolate the problem, 1st have a parts store like Kragen (they do it for free) or shop run a self test to check for system trouble codes, when it won't start see if it is spark or loss of fuel pressure that is the issue, if it is a loss of spark then there is a good chance the system will have a trouble code stored

Check if there is spark, eventually replace spark plugs.

Check air intake and air filter.

Check fuel filter and check that the fuel pump is fine, that there is pressure and pump is not noisy.

First ensure that is not ignition problem, in that case check starter motor, ignition and wirings.

Try to understand if it is a distribution problem , or is a fuel problem.

If it is distribution, and is misfiring check the spark plugs, the rotor cap and tips, or the electronic control module.

If it is not getting fuel, check the pump.

Also a problem with the computer module controlling electronic injection can give similar problems.

connecting the ECU (the car computer), to a code reader probably will return error codes that can tell you something about the problem.

Starting problem

Had similar problem with a Gemini. Try releasing the petrol filler cap before starting to equalise fuel tank/fuel line pressures.
