Question about 2001 Kia Sephia

Brakes passenger side front wheel not grabing when brakes applyied only when pumped cheked sylender and it works freely also bleaded and no differance. aso has new pads on. this is the only wheel not working.

you have to do an automated bleed with a scan tool.There is a section in the scan tool to do such a task.

I had to pump my brakes all the way to Florida and back to Pa.

Brake Pump repair (little rings/sealers broken/cheaped inside.),loosing brake oil (can ceck each wheel and the pump).Old brake oil,low brake oil level (may require bleading),loosed bleading screws,grease discs/drums,air in the system.Best guess:pump sealers.

Have replace master cylinder have bleed all line for air replace rear cylinder on both side and front caliper still have to pump the brake to the floor for to stop need help what to do next

do what is called a gravity blead. open all bleeders slightly and do not let the master cylinder go dry. after this start at passenger rear then drivers rear, passenger front then drivers. if this does not help you must bring the car in to a garage for abs bleeding and/or new abs module.

Hi Chris, The brake system is basically very simple. If you have duel braking on your vehicle, the usual method is having two brakes operate on the front with for example the left rear and the other system will also operate two front and the right rear. This type of system will have two calipers on each of the front wheels. The tandem system works in a slightly different way, having the forward part of the cylinder pressurizing the rear brakes and the rear part of the cylinder pressurizing the front. I think under the circumstances you are describing, I would have a friend sit inside and pump the brakes repeatedly until the system becomes pressurized (maybe twenty thirty times of pumping the brake pedal) and then ask him or her to keep it pushed firmly down until you find out where its leaking. The amount of brake fluid you report having been sed would indecate a severe leakage. Check the lower parts of the rear wheels for signs of leaking wheel cylinders and then dito for the front wheels. Any signs of wetness at these areas and along the brake system (the plumbing or pipe work) will indicate where the leakage is. If you cannot identify a wheel which is leaking, carefully inspect around and blow the master cylinder and if this no sign go along the fluid lines, taking special note of where the damaged pipe was repaired. If there is a blockage in the line, air may be trapped at that point causing difficulty in pressurizing. Once the place of leakage has been identified it must be attended to before bleeding the system. When bleeding, begin with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder, and work your way back to the master cylinder one wheel at a time, until you reach the closest.Keep in mind that you may find it required to pump the pedal many many times before opening the bleed nipple.Regards John

Proper method of bleeding passenger rear brake line? Gravity or pedal push?

hi this is a two person fix! firstly make sure ther is enough brake fluid in the reservoir .1st man needs to be in vechicle pumping brake up and down 5 or six times. 2 nd man needs to be at rear of vehicle furthest away from reservoir.(brake master) i.e reservoir on driver side , start on passenger side.! tell him to hold the pedal down to the floor and undo bleed nipple.tighten nipple and tell him to pump again. repeat until fluid with a steady flow out of nipple. makes sure you keep cheking fluid!! then move to other side of the rear and repeat, then do the front in the same order.... you must blead all four brakes to remove all traces of air.. cheers......pablo1 @

Got a 92 blazer that the brake pedal goes to the floor and is spongy, but also fades/sinks when holding it. I've bled all 4 wheels twice, 1st time bled old out until new came through, felt spongy and goes...

blead from the furthest point forward... so , if your master is on the firewall on the drivers side.. rear right , rear left , right front and then left front...

How do you blead the abs pump on a 1996 ford explorer

without a bleeder pump it is hard to do but you can do it by disconnecting the lines one at a time on the side going to the wheels, start the car have someone press on the brake and crack the line open do this till the air is out of the first line then go to next line and do all four lines, once you have done this then you will have to bleed the wheel cylinders starting from right rear or passenger side rear wheel the driver side wheel then passenger front side then driver side front, you will need engine running to power bleed the system, just stepping on the brake pedal without it running won't work, be sure not to let it run out of fluid as your bleeding the system or you could damage the abs system or the brake master cylinder.

I changed my front brake pads and since i have done this all 4 brakes will start grabing as i am driving down a straight road. I can blead the preasure off and they will release but will do the same thing...

when you bleed them do you make sure you have the cap off the break fluid reservor and have plenty of fluid and you gotta have some one pump the breaks a couple times and hold down while your bleeding them

Brake pedal went to floor. replaced master cylinder and blead system but no luck. what do i do?

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing? Run lines from outputs on master cylinder back into reservoir and pump air out . Connect lines and bleed system, Start from back passenger wheel first then back drivers wheel then front passenger and last front drivers wheel.
