Nedd to plug in block heater cord, but can't find it. Where is it located ?

Sometimes they are routed differently. The cord is large though, so you will have to look under the engine and find the heater itselft near the oilpan and follow it to the end. Also be sure it hasn't been ripped out. I know this is kind of vague, but unfortunately when they are installed people want them to come out in different places. The grill, the wheel well, etc. Thanks.

Where is the block heater cord

if installed properly, it should be accesible from the front without opening the hood. Check the grille area, or just under the bumper. If you are sure there is one installed - (not a factory option) look on the side of the engine block for a wire similar to this...

It is installed into the engine core drain plug.

2003 1.8L Turbo Beetle. Can't find the block heater plug

Hey steve. Your block heater cord should be in the very front, somewhere in the area behind your bumper/grille area. Also check under the hood on both sides, it will be the only 3 wire grounded cord in there. It may be coiled up also, so look for a coiled up unpluged cord too.
Good luck

The Heater Cord

Heater "core", by some chance? Try a Haynes or similar manual on follow it spot on to get this changed. I'm going to assume that you have a leak around that area....accordianman
