Question about 2000 Ford Focus
They brake lights on my 02 focus dont work. The little one in the middle of rear window works..but no break lights. I checked bulbs and they are good. Now what? Can anyone help me?=(
I have had this problem before with fords and the solution i found was to take out the door chime and clean up the conacts and then instal it again just how it was in there.....first i would disconnect the negative side of the battery before you do this because when i did it i got zapped. after you connect it try the brake lights and tell me what happens.
also #2 check for a bad ground wire (any black wire attached to the body or frame usually with a green screw) check for corrosion. if corrosion is present take off that wire and scuff up both sides of where the screw and the eyelet connect with the body then connect again.
