Your going to have to be more specific but there is a such thing as a flex pipe its rite under where the driver seat is under the car it connects to the exhaust they usually go back and the car gets really noisy if you look under the car they look like a pipe thats weaved metal like a basket but its a flex pipe.

Car drives good and smooth, new tires on car but when I aclerate car sounds loud like truck or motorcycle

Could be they did something when they changed the tires, or you have since poked a hole in the muffler, or knocked some rust loose exposing a hole in the muffler "OR" it is the tread noise from the new tires (cheap tires will do this)

2005 Cadillac CTS is making loud noise, sounds like it's coming from underneath the car.

-Muffler pipe connector could be loose.
-Could be a "hole"
And depend on how many part need to replace or just tight down.
-It could run from 150-400 (If replace the whole muffler line, it'll
go up to 800)

When i accelerate it sounds like a hole in my muffler, but when I maintain a constant speed it goes away, what can it be?

It could be a small hole or the baffles are loose in the muffler itself. You can either check this out yourself by jacking the vehicle up and starting it and see where the noise is coming from or have it looked at at a repair shop.Make sure they show you the problem if they find one.Don`t just take they`er word.Hope this helps.Good luck.

It started this morning: When I accelerate, my car sounds like a muffled lawn mower. I noticed it over the car radio this morning, which is what tipped me off. Car was loud all day when excellerating, and...

most likely exhaust leak, they were popular for the egr tube to leak, you can hear more under the hood vs standing beside the car, tube can be purchased from dealership, but to note, most exhaust places inspect for free to give a more accurate estimate, but yes sounds like exhaust

good luck

Car stutters when excellerating

This could be caused by a old muffler. The sound dampening material inside the muffler may have become loose from driving and it now causing your car to backfire and stutter when accelerating.

The car is running loud it sounds like a go cart or an old antique truck.

It could be a rust hole or breakage in your muffler, the exhaust could be broken. Most muffler shops will check this out for free. If it's a muffler, it may cost about $50 depending on the shop, but it should be an easy fix.

There does not have to be a visible hole for these symptoms to occur. You probably do need a new muffler. The rough idle sould subside when the new muffler is installed.

Very loud sound when driving as though muffler not functioning. Drivability okay otherwise. Service Dept can"t see me for a few more weeks and not sure if it's safe?

You should be okay for short trips . I think the muffler went out has a hole or leak.
The noise is going to get louder and louder if it is the muffler.

Loud muffler noise up front of vehical.what is

If the noise sounds like your muffler, but isn't coming from the area of your muffler, then you have an exhaust leak upstream from the muffler.

From the front of your muffler, follow the tubing forward to the catalytic converter, then forward to the engine exhaust manifold.

If you start with the car sitting for a few hours to make sure it's cold, you can use your hand to feel for blowing leaks while the engine is running, but chances are you'll be able to hear it. be careful of the catalytic converter itself, as it heats up fast, so check that first.

Once you've found the leak, the fix depends on the emissions laws in your state. If you have none, and the leak is in the middle of the pipe, you can buy pipe patchers (metal preferred) through auto parts stores or catalogs/websites. If you have strict emissions laws, or the leak is at the junction of the catalytic converter and pipe, you'll need to replace the failing part.
