Question about 1995 Chevrolet Camaro
My son ran his 3.8 litre Camaro out of gas. I have told him that you should not let the gas get too low on fuel injected cars. Anyway, he ran out. We put a couple of gallons of gas in. It started up but after a few seconds it started idling very rough and then cut off. Now, it will not start.I have replaced the fuel filter along the drivers side frame. My next thing was try to replace fuel pump. I am pretty sure it is in the gas tank.
Yea most american made cars have the fuel pump in the tank.....just drop the tank and replace....not that hard to do but you will need a helping hand...not something id attempt on my own......did you check the fuel pump relay and fuse.....that could be i too....try that first its cheaper....hope this helps :)
