Question about 1999 Dodge Durango
PROCESS TO CHANGE SERPENTINE BELT
Basically its easy......only a couple steps.....might want a helping hand......first to make it easy they make a tool that gets in hard to reach areas....like where the belt tensioner usually is.....its called crow foot set that ive seen n used....all you do is get the right sized crow foot and put it on the tensioner and release the tension from the belt by pulling toward you (if your on the same side of the truck) then slip the belt off (2nd hands are very helpful here) n slip the new one on......IMPORTANT!!!! MAKE SURE THE RIBS ON THE BELT MATCHES UP PERFECTLY WITH THE PULLIES...CHECK EVERY PULLY TO MAKE SURE THE BELTS NOT HANGIN OFF......let go of the crow foot slowly so u know it seats on the pullies. tell everyone to stand back and startr up
